This community initiative, as with all of our others, is completely dependent on broad-based public support from people like you.

Want to help fund what we do? Make a general contribution to our Resistance Fund! Thank you for being you.

Project Summary

In the fall of 2016, SEEKJOY® introduced a hybrid social entrepreneurship venture to support youth experiencing homelessness in the Twin Cities region of Minnesota. The venture, #Rake4Good, offered an affordable fall cleanup service with proceeds supporting YouthLink Minnesota. We learned alot as part of the inaugural year and have had a chance to reflect on the project, it’s goals, and improvements to the program to better serve our local community.

Goals of this Initiative

  1. Assist local community efforts providing a support networks for youth experiencing homelessness.
  2. Create a sustainable social entrepreneurship venture focused on the values of hard work, service-learning and ethics

Getting Involved

We’re currently laying the foundation for #Rake4Good 2.0. As part of this year’s program, we’re reaching back out to Youthlink MN and will be discussing optimized ways to go about coordinating and promoting to maximize the social benefit of the initiative.

At this point in time, we are asking all of those interested in participating in the Rake4Good program to get on our designated email list and provide a little bit of information about the property you’d like to have cleaned up so we can better prepare for the Fall 2017 season.

Other than that, overall just start thinking about Fall and if you’re from the Twin Cities and rake your lawn and/or hire a contracting service to manage this for you, consider working with Rake4Good instead!

Sponsorships & Volunteering

We’re actively looking for allies interested in sponsoring this year’s #Rake4Good Initiative, as well as those looking to volunteer time, energy and/or resources to the program.

Interested? Shoot an email to Rake4Good@seekjoy.co and we’ll respond as soon as we can.
