<\/div>[vc_column_text]Enbridge\u2019s Line 3 project has just received additional permits from the DNR to appropriate an additional 4.47 billion gallons of water<\/a> for temporary trench dewatering along the remaining 144.5 miles of proposed construction for Line 3 – nearly a ten-fold increase from the 510.5 million gallons originally granted.<\/p>\n

According to Paul Blackburn, Staff Attorney for Honor the Earth<\/a>, based on projected Enbridge employment numbers through year’s end, primary construction of the Line 3 Tar Sands Oil Pipeline will be complete by end of August, 2021 with additional work on the pumping and electrical facilities the primary focus after that time.<\/p>\n
