<\/div>[vc_column_text]The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources permitted Enbridge Energy to appropriate roughly 5 billion gallons of water from along the proposed route to construct the Line 3 Tar Sands Oil Pipeline over the coming weeks\/months (Permit 2018-3420<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Data for this illustration was compiled 7\/5\/2021. The Pipeline Corridor Route was sourced from WatchTheLineMN.org<\/a> and laid over the current Drought Map via U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) at dashboard.waterdata.usgs.gov<\/a>.<\/p>\n
