Although authorities determined the bridge to be &#8220;Structurally Sound&#8221; on January 12, 2017, the bridge remained closed due to law enforcement&#8217;s concerns about the camps nearby.<\/h4>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The bridge opened to the public at Noon on March 17th, 2017 as part of the phased re-opening of the public roadway which connects the Standing Rock Indian Reservation to the Bismarck\/Mandan area.
