Opponents to the Enbridge Line 3 “Replacement” Pipeline gathered in front of the Douglas County Government Center in Superior, Wisconsin on Tuesday, January 5, 2020 to raise awareness about the on-going construction of the pipeline & encourage those able to travel north to the frontlines in support of the indigenous-led resistance taking place on the ground.
Superior, Wisconsin on the shores of Lake Superior is the primary terminal for the Enbridge Mainline System that transports crude oil from Alberta, Canada, to destinations across the US & abroad. A demonstration organized by Gitchigumi Scouts & allied groups gathered in Opposition to the Line 3 ‘Replacement’ Pipeline on Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2020 in front of the Douglas County Government Center.
